Frequently asked questions
Do I need a POS system?
No. DesignScribe runs on its own. Your staff scan members’ QR codes using a cashier account, so it works next to whatever cash register or POS you already use.
Can I put my café’s logo on the member card?
Yes, on Starter and above. If you want your own app listing on Google Play and the App Store under your café’s name, branded app setup is a one-time fee from ₱5,000.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan covers up to 50 members, 1 branch and 1 cashier account, and shows ads in the app. When you outgrow it, Starter is ₱499/month for up to 500 members, your own logo and card colors, voucher codes and no ads.
What happens to my members’ personal data?
Members sign up with their name, mobile number and email, and passwords are hashed. Members can delete their account from inside the app, and data removal requests are completed within 30 days.
